THE STONE THROWER OR JESUS THE I AM KNOWER

THE STONE THROWER OR JESUS THE I AM KNOWER

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. —John 8:42-44

Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple. — John 8:56-59

Who is your Father?  Is it God or the devil?  Those are the only two choices.  It is one or the other.  How can one tell?  It is very simple— If God is your Father then—

  • You will love Jesus
  • You will understand Jesus came from God, His Father
  • You will know He did not come on His own accord, but was sent by His Father
  • You will understand what He is saying
  • You will love His Word
  • You will live according to the Truth
  • You will rejoice that Jesus came
  • You will understand the eternality of Jesus

On the other hand, if the devil is your father then—

  • You will not love Jesus
  • You will not understand where Jesus came from
  • You will not know that He was sent by His Father
  • You will not understand what He is saying
  • You will not love His Word
  • You will not live according to His Truth
  • You will not rejoice that Jesus came
  • You will not understand the eternality of Jesus

Why?  Because You are not willing to turn from your ways to follow His ways.  You don’t want the knowledge of the truth.  You don’t want to come to your “senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:25-26).  How do you escape from the trap of the devil?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=3s

Thank You, Dear Father, for sending Jesus so I could be saved from sin and to a relationship with You through Him.  I don’t understand much, but I surely know this.  Now, out of gratitude, may I live faithfully for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus.  Yes, may it be so! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhlDGS8wTeU
