I’M A CHILD OF GOD!

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. —John 1:9-13

             Let us not be surprised when Jesus is not received by people.  There are those who just don’t want anything to do with Him.  The world does not understand who He is, the Creator of all things.  How sad it is!

             Yet there are those who will receive Him as you and I have, brothers and sisters, fellow followers of Jesus.  And when we received Him, when we “believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”  Praise His Holy Name!  He gave us the RIGHT to become children of God!  How wonderful is that!  Thank You, Dear Father, for this wonderful gift You have given me through Jesus.  Now, as Your child, may I live faithfully for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be and all for Your Honor and glory! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QANH8MWuyaE
