BELIEVE THE GOSPEL— BEWARE OF THOSE WHO WOULD PERVERT THE GOSPEL!

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.   As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. 10 —Galatians 1:6-9

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.  For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. —I Corinthians 15:1-4

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” —Romans 10:13

Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. —John 20:30-31

We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. —Galatians 2:15-16

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. —Galatians 2:20-21

Plain and simple, have you come to the place where you have believed what Jesus has done on the cross for your sins (as well as the sins of the whole world— I John 2:2) and that He rose again from the dead? (Romans 1:4).  Have you called on Jesus to save you from your sins to a relationship with God through Him (John 14:6; Acts 4:12)?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=8s

There are those who distort the gospel of Christ, but the gospel in a nutshell is ”that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”  Anything added to that to be saved is a perversion of the gospel. —“The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

God has given us His Word that whoever hears His Word or reads His Word and comes to believe/has faith in Jesus is justified— because Jesus has served the justice for our sins that we deserved on the cross that we could be guiltless before God!  And “Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=6s Have you called on Him?  If so, then He is in the process of transforming your life! (Romans 12:2).

Dear Father, thank You that You showed me who Jesus is and what He has done for me.  Oh, if there are any reading this today who have not called on Jesus, please help them to come to the point of understanding who Jesus is and what He has done for them.  Help them to call on the Name of Jesus to be saved from their sin to a relationship with You through Him.  Yes, please encourage people to call out to Him to be saved! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghowDhd-GUM&list=RDghowDhd-GUM&start_radio=1
