SERVIGN BY HIS MERCY AND GRACE!

SERVING BY HIS MERCY AND GRACE!

So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace. —Romans 11:5-6

For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all. —Romans 11:32

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. —Romans 12:1-3

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them… —Romans 12:6

The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me… —Psalm 138:8

Those who know Jesus only know Him because of God’s grace on them.  It was not by any work that God saved them who know Jesus, it was all because of God’s favor upon them.  In our disobedience, God had mercy on us and did not give us what we deserved— “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).  Yes, how great is His mercy and grace toward we who believe in Jesus and have called on His Name to save us (Romans 10:9-13).  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lnUk074PiE

Having experienced His mercy and grace, what kind of person ought we to be?  We should love Him with all our heart, all our strength and all our mind and love people as He does (Matthew 22:37-40).  We are not to be conformed to this world’s system.  Instead, we are to discern and do the will of God while at the same time we are to have a proper perspective of ourselves.

With the portion of grace He has given us, along with the gifts He has given us, we are to serve Him and people.  Yes, we are to be using those gifts He has given us by grace.  Are we?  What is the gift of gifts He has given you?  Do you know what they are?  If you don’t know what they are, then how can you use them?  Let us use the giftedness He has given us.  He “will fulfill his purpose for me” and you.  So let us be faithful to Him as He is to us.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be!
