Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. —Psalm 25:4-5

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. —Psalm 25:8-9

Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. —Psalm 25:12

Here are some prerequisites for those who will be taught by our Lord—

  • He is the God of their salvation
  • They wait on Him for guidance
  • They understand that He is good and upright
  • They need to be humble to be taught
  • They need to fear the Lord
  • They need to listen to His instruction

Does that describe you?  Only then can a person know His paths, His ways.  Only then will a person receive what our Lord has to say and put it into practice.  Again, I ask, does this describe you?  May it be so, Dear Father, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  Let us listen, learn and apply what You have to say to us.  Yes, may it be so!
