MY LIGHT!

MY LIGHT!

There are those who rebel against the light, who are not acquainted with its ways, and do not stay in its paths. —Job 24:13

Upon whom does his light not arise? —Job 25:3

And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’ —Job 28:28

The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? —Psalm 27:1

There are those who simply rebel against the light of God, the truth of God.  They do not know His ways, nor stay in His paths.  But there is no excuse for them— “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).  The light of God’s Truth rises on all and is seen by all— “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.  They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.  Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world” (Psalm 19:1-4).  No, man has no excuse for not acknowledging light of God’s Truth.

Man is rebellious by nature and unwise.  Wisdom begins with a proper attitude toward our Lord and it is understanding that turns one away from evil.  For we who know Jesus, we desire to honor Him, to bring glory to Him, to live for Him and to encourage others toward Him.  We understand that He is the Light of Truth, our salvation, our strength and we need not fear.  And so, fellow follower of Jesus, brother and sister, may we truly live like that to honor King Jesus.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Precious Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2IjMswuCS8
