CLUELESS LEADERSHIP GUIDES DOWN PATHLESS WASTE

In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. —Job 12:10

He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away. He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander in a pathless waste. They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them stagger like a drunken man. —Job 12:23-25

            It is illusion and deception to think a person or nation is ultimately in control.  The ungodly think like this.  They only look at the here and now and that is what they live for.  But it is our Lord God Almighty that has “the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.  It is the fool who does not believe in God and thinks that his way is right—

“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”  They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.  The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.  All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.” —Psalm 14:1-3

Our nation is in a mental stupor, a demonic fog that thickens.  As a whole, our nation is blind to the fact that our Lord God Almighty “makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away. He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander in a pathless waste. They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them stagger like a drunken man.”  Let’s ponder this.  Our Lord God Almighty—

• Makes nations great
• Destroys nations
• Enlarges nations
• Leads nations away
• Takes away understanding of leaders
• Makes leaders wander in a pathless waste
• Makes leaders group in the darkness without light
• Makes leaders stagger like drunken men

The mental acuity of so many of our nation’s leaders has waned.  Demonic darkness has overtaken them and they are making drunken decisions while thinking they are sober solutions.  The nation is turning into an intellectual wasteland bent on destroying all that is good.  Of course, this is satanic as we know that Satan hates all that is good.  We live in a fallen world and so as sad as it is, what is happening it not a surprise.  Things will get worse, according to God’s Word, before Jesus comes back, however long or short that is in the future.

            Brothers and sisters, fellow followers of Jesus, what is to be our response?  It is to be the same response as the faithful of the past.  Love God, love people and make disciples.  The motivation and mission have not changed, nor will it.  Dear Father, may we stick to the mission and not be distracted away from it by the circumstances of the day.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it!  May this be all for Your Honor and glory.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x8TZiwPGa0
