REFLECT ON WHAT HE HAS DONE!

REFLECT ON WHAT HE HAS DONE!

Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man. He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him, who rules by his might forever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations— let not the rebellious exalt themselves. —Psalm 66:5-7

Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. —Psalm 66:16

What have you seen or heard that God has done in His awesome deeds toward the children of men?  What has He done for you?

Look first at the Biblical record of what He has done.  These things “written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope” (Romans 15:4).  God’s Word 1- teaches us 2- shows us endurance 3- shows us encouragement 4- gives us hope.              We see His awesome deeds in His Word such as turning the “sea into dry land” and how they “passed through the river on foot.”  He also keeps watch over all the nations and the rebellions should not exalt themselves.  He has the final Word… He will have the final judgment on all nations and on all mankind.

Look to others to see what God has done for them.  These are wonderful testimonies of God’s awesome deeds.  Oh, that we would share with others what we have seen, heard and experienced of His workings.  Share the Biblical record with others.  Share your own record with others (your testimony of how God drew you to Jesus— Acts 26).  Speak of what He has done since that time He drew you to Himself.  Think of all He has done, is doing and will do for you, for others and in this world among the nations.  Share of His goodness, His provision, His moving in your life and in the lives of others…  Share how He has worked in you and through you.  Rejoice in His Mighty and all-Powerful Name! Let us take the time to reflect on what He has done!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vwu-t7QRaE Honor Him, glorify His Name!

Dear Father I am so grateful for how Your Word teaches me, helps me to endure,  encourages me and gives me hope.  I am so thankful for Your written Word.  I am also thankful for all You have done, are doing and will do in my own life.  May I seek to be more and more of what You desire and to be about Your work for me more and more faithfully.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be!
