EVIDENCE REVEALS THE FOOL AND THE FAITHFUL

The fool will no more be called noble, nor the scoundrel said to be honorable. For the fool speaks folly, and his heart is busy with iniquity, to practice ungodliness, to utter error concerning the LORD, to leave the craving of the hungry unsatisfied, and to deprive the thirsty of drink. —Isaiah 32:5-6

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. —Philippians 1:21

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. —Philippians 1:27-28

There are those who live for themselves.  They think they are noble, but they are fools.  They think they are honorable, but they are scoundrels.  They speak irrationality and inwardly they devise wickedness and then outwardly they practice their ungodliness.  If and when they speak of our Lord, they speak in error.  They do not concern themselves with those in need.  They are selfish, bound prisoners of Satan doing his will.  That can only be destructive.

On the other hand, there are those who desire to live for Jesus.  They have an eternal perspective in mind and desire to please our Lord.  They do not fear death because they know the best to come occurs after death— to be with Jesus and all who love Him forever!  Not that “is gain!”

That being the case then all those who have called on the Name of the Lord for salvation (Romans 10:13) are to live a “manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ.”  Others will know we “are standing firm in one spirit.”  They will also know that we are a team player as we with one mind strive “side by side for the faith of the gospel.”  It will be evident that we are people of faith when we are “not frightened in anything by” those who oppose us.  Living out our faith is a clear sign that we are saved by God and that those who do not want anything to do with Him, other than use His Name in error to promote themselves, are headed for destruction.

This is what is happening in our world.  There is a spiritual battle for the minds of men.  Let us be faithful in pointing people to the safety of salvation is our Savior and King— Jesus.  Yes, may this be so Dear Father by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Precious Son Jesus!  So may it be!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLX83HbefrI
