SENT!

Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.” —John 13:20

            Just as our Father sent Jesus into the world, so now also has Jesus sent us into the world (John 17:18).  Those who accept the messengers that Jesus has sent accept Him and whoever accepts Him also accepts our Father who sent Jesus.  Now this is key as we share Jesus with others— If they do not accept our message, they will not accept the Son and the Father.

            Fellow ambassador of our Lord Jesus Christ—

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. —II Corinthians 5:18-20

Brother and sister as Christ’s ambassadors God is speaking, desires to speak through us to others to reconcile people to Himself through Jesus.  We carry this message to people or God wants us to carry this message to people so they can be forgiven and come into relationship with Him through Jesus.  Will you and I be faithful ambassadors or just carry that title?  May we be so… today and for the rest of our lives.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW5o2uBeMWQ
