CALL A BAD APPLE FOR WHAT IT IS— EVIL IS EVIL!

Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said, “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it. —John 12:3-6

Even among Jesus’ closest associates there was an evil person with evil intentions.  Judas did not care about people.  All he cared about was how he could get his greedy hands on the group’s money for his own personal use.  He did not care about this beautiful, sacrificial and loving ministry that was done to Jesus by Mary.  No, Judas said this was a big waste of money and feigned his concern for the poor and said that the money should have gone toward the poor.  Again, he did not care about the poor, but wanted to position himself in such a way as to have access to the money himself.

There are evil people in this world with evil intentions.  They do not care about people.  Instead they are selfish and desirous of only doing what benefits them.  Their own ways and purposes are only meant to further their intentions.  We see this evil in sexual predators and traffickers, homicidal maniacs, false witnesses and bribers and in so many other ways.  Evil is in this world and until people acknowledge this, then problems will continually be blamed on something else.

Jesus said of Judas, “Then Jesus replied, ‘Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!’ (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)” (John 6:70-71).  What was Jesus saying?  He was saying that Judas was influenced by the Evil One, Satan, who “who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:26).  There are only three “wills” —God’s will, Satan’s will and man’s will.  Man’s will either line up with God’s will or Satan’s will.  The only way for man to do God’s will is to come into a relationship with Jesus.  Otherwise man is ensnared by Satan and is a prisoner to do his will.

No doubt these terrible shootings, like we have recently experienced in 2022, are more than mental disturbances— they are satanically motivated.  Until that is acknowledged there will not be an understanding of why these things happen, nor will there be any movement for a positive solution.  Ignoring want is really happening only causes band-aid solutions and feel good activity or manipulative action to impact the majority negatively when only a small minority is at fault.  BUT… this is what happens when a people do not want to be submissive to God or live for His Son Jesus.  When Light is rejected, darkness floods in. Darkness is becoming greater. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On-whMoulOM

Dear Father may America wake up and experience revival.  Oh, that Your Church would be and do what You desire above all else.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  We need Your Light Lord!
