People can deny God, disbelieve in God, speak against God, blame God and blaspheme God… but they will stand before Him one day… whether they believe that or not. It will happen either when He comes or when they die… and we all will die!
One day Jesus will come back and His coming will impact the whole world. People can act tough now and say things like… “Yeh, when I see God I will tell Him what I think of Him!” A person with such an arrogant attitude does not have a clue of what they are saying or who they are speaking about. “Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty” (Revelation 19:15). “In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead” (Revelation 1:16-17). No, the arrogance of man will fall at His feet as He says to them “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41). Those will be eternally and terrifying words to hear
Yes, Jesus is coming back or we will die before He does. Either way all who have ever lived or will live on this planet will come before Him. Those who have called on His Name are saved from their sin and saved to an eternal life with Jesus. Those who trust in themselves are still in their sin and their penalty will be eternal separation from Him in the place of punishment— hell. Why? Because they did not want anything to do with Jesus who has already proven His love by taking that punishment for each person who has lived, will live or is living (I John 2:2). To deny Him is to bring condemnation upon self (John 3:18, 36). If you have not, trust Him today! Dear Father I will be so glad to be with Jesus in heaven and with all who love Him. Yes, even so come Lord Jesus. Until I see You may I live faithfully for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. So may it be!
