And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you. —Exodus 31:6

What God has called you to do He will give you the ability to do it and He will gather all those who are to serve with you as well and give them the ability to accomplish what He desires.  This is a wonderful truth.  He calls us to a work and He equips us for the work.  He calls us to a work and He calls others to the work to work with us.  He does it!  Will you trust Him for it?

So what has God called you and me to?  Surely there are some obvious things in His Word.  He has called us to love Him with all our being and to love others as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40).  So… how are we doing in these two areas that sum up all the Old Testament?

He has also called us to be witnesses, beginning where we live and working out to impact our Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth— we are to make disciples that obey in all nations (Matthew 28:16-20).  Do I have eyes for the vision and commission, the life goals that He has given us?  Or am I thinking way too small, keeping within my comfort zone, even living like a Christian atheist?  What is a Christian atheist?  It is living in such a way that I do not even need God because I do everything in my own strength and do not believe Him for the supernatural.  It is like living without Him as an atheist does.  Oh, may that be the case Lord!

Name one thing right now that you have seen God do in your life— something that you could not orchestrate and only He could do— something that only He could have done.  Did something come right to mind?  Did something in the present and not yesteryear come to mind?  Is anything coming to mind?

Let us be expectant and remember that it is God that gives you the ability to be and do what He desires.  Will you trust Him for that?  Will you get out of your comfort zone?  Will you trust Him for the supernatural?  Will you expect Him to move?  May this be so as we live life! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuVNGUXZQ1g&list=UUf1NPIFOBwzTLVQiEDnq4Cw&index=12

Dear Father this is my desire— to use the abilities that you have given me and to serve with those who You desire me to serve with.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-816LEY-F9U
