WALK WISELY, EXPOSE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS

WALK WISELY, EXPOSE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS

For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. —Ephesians 5:5

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. —Ephesians 5:11

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. —Ephesians 5:15

Those living these lifestyles, showing no repentance, have no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.  This world’s system, this present evil age, seeks to normalize sexual immorality, that which is filthy and greed.  But the world is suppressing the truth by its wickedness (Romans 1:18) and disqualifies people form the “inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.  People can claim to know God all they want but “by their fruit you will recognize them” Jesus told us and I will go by what He says.

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. —I Corinthians 6:9-11

People can make the choices they want to make.  They always have.  But when they make the choices that are contrary to God’s will and live a lifestyle contrary to God’s desire, then they will have to answer to Him!  This world’s system, this present evil age, needs the Lord’s servants “not to be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.  Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:24-26).  This world, this present evil age, needs to come to their senses.  They are not thinking right.  They need to be instructed by the knowledge of the truth in hopes they may repent.  Right now they are in “the trap of the devil who has taken them captive to do his will.”  They are Satan’s prisoners!

We need to use our time wisely, exposing the “unfruitful works of darkness” and not taking any part in them.  So walk wisely.  “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!” (I Corinthians 10:12). These days are evil and we are to make the best use of our time.  Yes, we are to be careful how we walk and be wise in the way we live.  Let us proclaim our Lord Jesus— https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=27s

Yes, Dear Father, may I use my time wisely, exposing the darkness and proclaiming Jesus, the Light of this world.  May it be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLX83HbefrI&list=UUf1NPIFOBwzTLVQiEDnq4Cw&index=24
