YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE… OR NOT!

YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE… OR NOT!

It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life… as many as were appointed to eternal life believed. —Acts 13:46, 48

Do you receive the Word of God or thrust it aside?  Do you have eternal life by accepting what God says or judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life by rejecting what He says?  What do you say?

There are those who are appointed to eternal life.  They hear the Word of God, believe it and accept it.  They then seek to live according to God’s Word and not according to how they lived before calling on Jesus to be saved (Romans 10:13)—

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. —Ephesians 2:1-3

Those of us who have believed have eternal life and our lives are not what they used to be like.  There is evidence of transformation and a desire to live according to God’s Word and to be serving as He desires—

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. —Ephesians 2:4-10

The evidence in your life will show that you have either trusted in the Word of God, have eternal life and are following Jesus.  Or, the evidence in your life will show that you have rejected the Word of God, do not have eternal life and are not follow Jesus.  Which is it for you?    Have you eternal life of not?  Are you living according to the Word of God or not?  Have you called on Jesus to save you from your sin or not?  If you have not then “I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 5:2).   Call on Him today!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=40s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JK_6osCH74

Dear Father thank You for forgiving my sin and giving me eternal life through Jesus.  Now may I faithfully live for You according to Your Word, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it!
