Let us not forget for a moment whose creation this is. The heavens are our Lord’s. The earth is our Lord’s. All that is in it is the Lord’s. All the people are his creation. As the Creator He can do as He wills with His creation.
Just look around and look up to see how awesome He is. From the stellar bodies to the microscopic bodies His glory, power and design are clearly evident. These are so evident that there is not a person on the planet that can excuse His existence away. When people do not want to acknowledge God then their minds become darkened, their thinking skewed and their actions vile (Romans 1:18-32). God says they are fools who say in their heart “There is no God” (Psalm 14:1).
A painter is needed to create a painting. A builder is needed to build a building. All that man has made needed someone to make it. So also creation has a Creator and God says to deny this one has to be a fool because the evidence all around us is so clear. Take a look at the animals, the plants, the trees, the stars and people… These are creations of God and the foolish thoughts of man to explain otherwise are just nonsense. Dear Father what a joy to look around me and be constantly reminded that You are the Creator and Sustainer of all that I see. Even though sin has ruined what You created, it is still wonderful. Oh the day when all this will be made new and no sin will exist. I so look forward to that time.
