FIRST LOVE

But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. —Revelation 2:4-5

            Do you love the Lord God Almighty as you did at first? Have you drifted? Are you serving Him out of love like you used to? If not, then this passage of God’s Word says to repent and do what you used to do.

            The consequence of not repenting and lovingly serving our Lord will end up in our witness being non-existent for Him— not a good witness anyway. So, what will you do? Will you repent and turn back to Him or continue down the road you are presently on? That road leads to darkness. May we take the proper action!
