WE WILL APPEAR BEFORE OUR CREATOR

WE WILL APPEAR BEFORE OUR CREATOR

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. —Hebrews 1:1-2

“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.” —Hebrews 1:10

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. —Colossians 1:16-17

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.—John 1:1-3

There is no doubt as to Who Jesus is from these verses above. He is God’s Son. He made the universe. He created the earth. He created all things “in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities.” Not only did He create all things, but also “in Him all things hold together.” He is eternal. He had no beginning and He has no end. This is Who our King Jesus is. “All things have been created through him and for him” (Colossians 1:16).

He was not elected to be King and is never up for re-election. He is Sovereign over all. He gave life to all and everybody will give account to Him after they die. People can deny this, but that does not alter the fact that they will appear before Him as Judge. Every person’s eternal destiny is in the hands of Jesus.

This all powerful Creator Son of God’s hands were nailed to a cross. He took the penalty and punishment for our sin.   Those who call on His Name will be saved from their sin to a relationship with Him forever (Romans 10:13). They will be safe in His hands (John 10:27).   Those who reject Him will be thrown into the eternal Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15), originally prepared for the devil and his angels, the demons (Matthew 25:41). Dear Father may You be pleased to work in and through me to encourage others to live for Jesus. Thank You for impacting my life and now may I be an impact in many other lives for Your glory. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
