GOD DOES WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO

So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told. —Acts 27:25

You can be sure that God will keep His Word exactly as we have been told. “So take heart… have faith in God.” Trust Him to do what He said He would do. Want peace? Jesus said that “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Listen!   “In this world you will have trouble.”   Did you hear that? So do not be surprised at the trouble that comes in this world. Its design is to take away the peace you have in Jesus.

You troubled right now? You don’t have peace right now? You anxious right now? It is because you are allowing the world’s trouble to distract you from the peace that is available in Jesus. In Him we have peace. Don’t allow anything or anyone to take that away. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7). See?   Our hearts and minds will be guarded in Jesus IF we take these worldly troubles to Him and allow Him to handle them His way. You hold onto worldly troubles and you will not have peace. Your thoughts and emotions will be all over the place. So why not go to the One who is over ALL things and trust Him to work them out? You have a choice— try to work things out, try to figure things out on your own or trust Him with them. What will you do?   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJeNUlNY7Iw

Dear Father help me to trust You with the race You have marked out for me— whatever the circumstances. I know You will do exactly as You say. May I trust You. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.   So bit it!
