REJOICE AND SING!

But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me. —Psalm 13:5-6

            I have trust in our Lord’s steadfast love and my heart does rejoice in His salvation. He surely has dealt bountiful with me. It is such a joy to know that He loves me and that His love will continue forever.   Salvation— rejoicing in knowing my sin is forgiven. I am rejoicing in my relationship with my Lord. His dealings with me have been bountiful, are bountiful and will be bountiful.

            Look at the cross and the bountiful grace extended to us— sin is forgiven, made perfect in Jesus, heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus, knowing God’s unconditional love toward us, being part of God’s perfect plan, having been made God’s co-laborers, knowing purpose for getting up every morning, knowing destination forever, having songs in our heart toward our Creator and Sustainer, understanding we are totally secure in Jesus, gratefulness of His provisions of food, water, clothes, a place to live… and our hope in Heaven with Him and all who love Him.   The list goes on and on as we sit and ponder His steadfast love toward us, the salvation we have in Him and His bountiful dealing with us.             So let us start off our day singing praise to the One who loves us so. Sing to Him who has our best interests in mind always. Rejoice in Him who has laid out plans and purposes in our lives. Let us be grateful for this relationship with Him and our eternity to be with Him. Oh yes, let us rejoice in song and praise!

Dear Father I am so thankful for the bountifulness You have extended to me in so many ways. Oh that I would live a grateful, thankful life. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
