DENIAL OF REALITY DOES NOT CHANGE THE REALITY!
DENIAL OF REALITY DOES NOT CHANGE THE REALITY!
For the wicked boasts of the desires of his soul, and the one greedy for gain curses and renounces the LORD. In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.” —Psalm 10:3-4
Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.” —Acts 17:29-31
Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. —Psalm 100:3
People who boast of their own desires are wicked. Being greedy for gain is one of their focuses. They seek to be their own god and in doing so they curse and renounce the Lord God Almighty. This is the height of arrogance and in their pride they do not seek Him. Instead they convince themselves that “There is no God.” So they claim to be atheists as if they know about everything everywhere at all times right now. God exists. They are just self-willed deniers of the Truth.
People that curse and renounce our Lord God Almighty deny their origins. Instead of acknowledging that God has made us (and all of creation) they come up with their own ideas of where we came from— these are the imaginations of man and not reality. God says of them that “their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles” (Romans 1:21-23). So many think they are wise when God says they are fools for missing the obvious (Romans 1:18-20).
Those who deny God’s purposes and plans cannot stop them. Death will come to all people and all people will then stand before Jesus on Judgment Day. Denying that reality does not evaporate that reality! You and I have an appointment with Jesus after death. Those who have lived for Jesus will appear before the Judgment seat of Christ to give account of how they lived (II Corinthians 5:10; I Corinthians 3:10-15). Those who have not lived for Him will appear at the White Throne Judgment to be condemned forever in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-20).
So the message to those who have not called on Jesus is to repent, turn from their own ways and to follow Jesus and His ways. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=3s He loves you. He died for you. He rose from the dead for you. You will see Him one day. Be ready!
I thank You dear Father for drawing me to Jesus. Oh that I would now be sensitive to Your guidance and serve according to Your desires for me in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5HCEyAg-TI
