But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped.  For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked…  But when I thought how to understand this, it seemed to me a wearisome task, until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end…  Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. —Psalm 73:2, 16-17, 25

Brother and sister have you ever gotten discourage, or maybe you are discouraged right now, over those who do not know the Lord but their lives seem to be problem free?  The Psalmist was envious of those who were arrogant and of the wicked who were prospering.  We can get off focus and weary our minds on these type thoughts.  It is when we gather with God’s people that our thinking is straightened out.  In reality, “Whom have I in heaven but You?”

Let us keep our focus with God’s people.  We are on our way home to heaven where our Savior is.  Oh, to be there with Him and all love Him.  What a joy to ponder that place where all will be as it should be!  Keep your focus on Jesus!

Dear Father, even so come Lord Jesus!  Oh, may this be so soon.  Until I get home may I faithfully serve You here in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.  So be it!
