            One hundred years after our death nobody will remember us.  Wow, what a great thought!  But really, think about it.  You remember your parents, your grandparents, but how about your great grandparents or do you know anything about your great great grandparents?  See how quickly man is forgotten.

            Only those who have invented something, those who are famous or infamous, are still remembered years after they are dead.  For instance, who is connected to these: printing press, 95 Theses, telegraph, light bulb, writers of the Bible, Pilgrim’s Progress, holocaust, I’ve got a dream, Cherry tree…

            Death surely is the great equalizer regardless of who we are!  The wealthiest person on the planet and the poorest will both die.  So will be the wisest and the lest wisest come to the same end.  Death makes no distinction.  All die…

            Fellow follower of Jesus, rejoice!  The world may not remember us, but our Lord God Almighty does and that is what counts.  So, let us live a life that is pleasing to Him above all— “The Lord knows those who are his” (II Timothy 2:19).   He knows our name!  He knows us! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haLkLDfLBok

Dear Father I am so glad to know You through Your Son, Jesus.  Thank You that You value me even when the world may not.  I am so overjoyed to know You know and that is all I need to know.  Now, may I live according to Your desires in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus.  May it be so!
