BE MULTIPLIED!
BE MULTIPLIED!
Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for he was but one when I called him, that I might bless him and multiply him. —Isaiah 51:2
Brother and sister, God called Abraham. God blessed Abraham. God multiplied Abraham. God called you. God blessed you. God wants to multiply you. Abraham was going to be a blessing to the world. His “offspring” would be multitudes through the ages. How about you and me? Will we be multitudes to the end of this age?
God did all this through Abraham and yet Abraham had a part that he was responsible for. He wasn’t just a bump on a long. No, instead, he yielded to what God wanted to do in and through his life. It was a process. Abraham was a mix of obedience and disobedience. He was not a perfect man, but he wanted to be used by God and was.
You and I have been given authority to “make disciples.” We have been blessed in knowing Jesus and now we are to be a blessing and tell others so they can know Him and grow up in Him and also tell others about Him so they too can do the same. This is how God multiplies us today. Are you multiplying? Am I multiplying? Am I being obedient as one blessed in being a blessing to others? Oh, may it be so!
Dear Father You have blessed me. Please work in and through me that I would be a blessing to others. May that be so today in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
