MY HOPE

My Hope

You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word. —Psalm 119:114

I am so glad that our Lord is always there for us. He is our safe haven, our sanctuary, our shelter, our protection, our harbor, our retreat… What better shield is there than our God? So let us take that shield of faith and stand firm in our God. Let nothing move us from Him. Cling to Him, abide in Him and trust Him.

Whose word are you putting your hope in? I will put my hope in His Word. My trust will be in what He says above all others. What He says is most important and so when I speak to the lost or to the saved it is what He says in His Word I need to share with them. His Word to people is priority and not my ideas.

Are you resting in His Word? Are you trusting His Word? Are you obeying His Word? This is what is most important. May we be doing so!

Thank You Father that You are my refuge and shield. I am grateful that You are always with me and will not leave me or forsake me. I am also so grateful that You have given us Your Word that we can fully depend upon. May I do so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
