BE A SERVANT!

They came to Capernaum. When he was in the house, he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?” But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest. Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.” —Mark 9:33-36

The foremost example of being the greatest servant is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. What kind of a servant’s heart do you and I have? Who are we serving? Are we willing to serve anyone and everyone? Who is it that we are not willing to serve? May we rethink that…
