DOING RIGHT BECAUSE OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him. —I John 2:29

Doing what is right flows out of His righteousness. Those who have been born of God have the righteousness of God (II Corinthians 5:21) and that righteousness of God will transform a person on the inside. That which is the core of a person will produce fruit from that core now that the Holy Spirit of God resides in them ( I Corinthians 6:19-20). There will be evidence in a person’s life that they have truly repented (Acts 26:20). May it be so!

Dear Father may I be doing those right things that You desire because of what You have done for me through the righteousness of Your Son. May I be doing what is right out of His righteousness. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
