HE LOVES ME— ALWAYS!

My relatives have failed me, my close friends have forgotten me. —Job 19:14

When times of difficulty come upon us there are relatives and even close friends who are not there for us. It seems when things are going well that our relationships appear close, but then when difficult times come those relationships seem to fade. They do not come around as often as they used to or have any contact as they did in the past. It seems that the difficulty keeps them away and has changed our relationship from being close to being distant or not longer existent.

But, may we rejoice in knowing there is One who will never gives up on us, never leave us and is always there for us— “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). Dear Father, what joy fills my heart to know that You love me and have proved it through the cross! You loved me first… that is truly amazing. Oh, may I truly love You in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus who even made this possible!
