LET THE CHILDREN COME TO JESUS!

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” —Matthew 19:14

Oh, how children are hindered from coming to Jesus! Parents hinder them, relatives hinder them, the educational system hinders them, laws hinder them, media hinders them, abuse hinders them, hunger hinders them, sickness hinders them, worldly philosophies hinder them and society in general hinders them. Jesus is not happy about this. We are told by Jesus to let the children come to Him and not to hinder them, not to obstruct them from doing so.

Children are the weakest members of our world and they are greatly taken advantage of. The voiceless children in the womb are slaughtered by the consent of adults. Children are sexually and physically abused at the consent of adults. Jesus is not happy about this!

Jesus said to “Let the little children come to” Him. This was not an optional statement. No, He said, “Let the little children come.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMy7rabpY6g May we be faithful in reaching out to the smallest of those in our sphere to encourage them toward Jesus! May it be so!

Dear Father, help me to see children through Your eyes and through the love that Jesus has for them. Oh, may it be so in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
