PROCLAIM JESUS!

Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the Lord made the heavens! O nations of the world, recognize the Lord, recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong. Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence. Let the trees of the forest rustle with praise, for the Lord is coming to judge the earth. —I Chronicles 16:23-26, 33

The United States and nations of the world are chasing after mere idols. They are not singing to the Lord. They are not proclaiming the good news that He saves. They are not publishing His glorious deeds. They are not telling of the amazing things He does. They do not praise Him. They do not fear Him. They are not recognizing that He created the heavens. They are not acknowledging that He is glorious and strong. They are not giving Him the glory He deserves and they do not believe that He is coming to judge the earth.

Are you and I chasing after mere idols? Do we sing to the Lord? Are you and I proclaiming the good news that He saves? Have we been publishing His glorious deeds among the nations? Are we telling everyone, anyone about the amazing things He does? Do we praise Him? Do we fear Him? How have we recognized that He created the heavens? In what ways do we acknowledged that He is glorious and strong? How do we give Him the glory He deserves? Do we believe that He is coming to judge the earth?
