CHILDREN AT RISK!

Children all too often become the objects of adult’s abuse. We read of ISIS killing children http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/07/02/isis-executioners-spare-no-one-killing-74-children-for-crimes-including-not.html and this was not the only time these butchers did this http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/video-allegedly-shows-isis-murdering-200-syrian-children-article-1.2428322. Then we have sick sexual predators using their positions to promote abuse http://www.creationmoments.com/radio/transcripts/evolutionist-defends-pedophilia and http://www.wnd.com/2014/01/pedophilia-the-next-sexual-rights-revolution/. Planned Parenthood and all the abuse taking place there but is just being shrugged off for the most part http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/15/health/planned-parenthood-undercover-video/. Yes, Satan likes to go after the most helpless among us— children.

So it was when Jesus was born. King Herod, paranoid tyrant that he was, heard about this “King of the Jews” being born and schemed to find out where he was. When he did find out he sent soldiers to kill Jesus and in his attempt killed all the children in the surrounding area of Bethlehem up to two years of age.

What does this situation and all those mentioned above have in common? They are satanically motivated and these people are being held captive by Satan to do his will (II Timothy 2:26). If Satan sought to instigate people to kill Jesus then he will do anything as seen in the links above. But, Satan is a defeated foe. He could not touch Jesus and Jesus will have a final judgment on him (Revelation 20:10). All things will be set right one day. That is what the birth, death, resurrection and ascension is all about. Jesus will come again, but not as a Lamb. He will come as a Lion and apply true justice. Even so come Lord Jesus!

Dear Father, please help me to be the person You desire and to be about Your business that You have for me. May this be done in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
