JESUS WILL COME AS HE SAID!

What sign will signal your return and the end of the world? —Matthew 24:3

Here’s how Jesus responded to the disciples’ question:

-Many will come claiming to be Messiah –Many will be deceived by false Messiahs –You will hear of wars –You will hear of threats of wars –Nation will go against nation –Kingdom will go against kingdom –There will be famines –There will be earthquakes in many parts of the world ***These are only the first of birth pains

– You will be arrested because you are my followers –You will be persecuted because you are my followers –You will be killed because you are my followers –You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers –Many will turn away from Jesus –Those turning away will betray those who are not –Those who are turning away will hate those who are not –Many false prophets will appear –Many will be deceived by these false prophets –Sin will be rampant everywhere –The love of many will grow cold –The gospel will be preached throughout the whole world –All nations will hear the gospel –The abomination that causes desolation will be standing in the Holy Place –The anguish will be greater than any time on ever on earth –False messiahs & prophets will deceive through great signs and wonders –After the anguish of those days the sun will be darkened –After the anguish of those days the moon will give no light –After the anguish of those days stars will fall from the sky –After the anguish of those days the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

“For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes… And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world—from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven” (Matthew 24:28, 30-31).

Let us not be surprised when those of this world’s system hate, persecute and kill us just because we love Jesus. What we see today is the wickedness of satanic evil. It has always been on the earth ever since Eve’s deception and then the killing of Abel by his brother Cain. The lost are held captive to do Satan’s will (II Timothy 2:26). Be wise!

Dear Father, may I have the Holy Spirit’s wisdom to understand the times we live in.
