JESUS KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU!

I know… —Revelation 2-3

Here in America, and in other parts of the world, citizens are being watched more and more. We are being track through phones, computers, cars, credit cards and just about any of the new technology. Who knows what type of secret technology is orbiting the planet. If Google Earth can zoom into our backyards, then what is the secret technology doing?

Regardless of what man can know of others through technology, there is One who already knows everything about all of us… everything. He knows: our deeds, work, perseverance, the evil we do or do not tolerate, endurance of hardships, afflictions, poverty, how we are slandered, our fear of suffering, our persecution, where we live, if we are true to His Name, our love, our faith, our service, when we are spiritual dead, our unfinished work, that we need to wake up, when we have little strength, when we have kept His Name, when we have not denied His Word, that we patiently endured, when we are lukewarm, when we think we don’t need anything, when we are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, naked, when we need His counsel, when we need to be rebuked, when we need to be disciplined, when we need His fellowship, when we forsake our first love, when we need to repent, when we tolerate false teaching.

But, over-comers will eat of the tree of life in the paradise of God, will not be hurt by the second death, will eat of the hidden manna, will receive a new name, be given authority over the nations, be given the morning star, will be dressed in white, will not have their name blotted out from the book of life, will be acknowledged before the Father and his angels, will be a pillar in the temple of God, will sit with Jesus on His throne.

We need to listen to the Holy Spirit as He seeks to show us where we are in error, what we need to do to correct that error and to receive His encouragement. Jesus knows all about your life and mine. He knows if we truly believe or if we are just going through the motions. He knows what He desires us to be and do and He knows what we need to accomplish what He desires to work out in our lives. Today, may we listen to the Holy Spirit and be faithful! Then, may we do the same tomorrow!

Dear Father, I am grateful that Jesus knows all about me. Oh, that I would be and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. Help me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and follow His lead. May it be so.
