CLEAN IN CHRIST!

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.  My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. —I John 1:8-2:2

Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” —John 13:10

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. —John 15:3

            How Great is our God? How Kind is our God? How Loving is our God? How Patient is our God? How Gracious is our God? How Holy is our God? How Perfect is our God? How Assuring is our God? How Accepting is our God? HOW FORGIVING IS OUR GOD?! How Righteous is our God and we are given His Righteousness through Jesus. This is truly ASTOUNDING!

            On one hand we are whole, complete in Jesus. On the other hand we are still in process. On one hand our sins are forgiven. On the other hand we need to ask for forgiveness when we sin.
