NO EXCUSE NOT TO BELIEVE IN GOD

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. —Romans 1:18-20

People all over this world are without excuse. “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” We are told that His “invisible qualities—- his eternal power and divine nature” have been clearly seen by what He has made. People can look at any part of creation and understand these two characteristics of God. His power is enormous! His divine nature is marvelous. His creation is amazing. Who can pack a peck of tomatoes in a container as small as a seed… or an oak tree, redwood tree, flowers, or people beginning in seed form as well? His design of everything is astounding. We are encouraged to study His Creation, to learn from His Creation… “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!” (Proverbs 6:6). “Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!” (Luke 12:24). “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these” (Luke 24:27).

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world” (Psalm 19:1-4).

“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe” (Hebrews 1:1-2).

There is no excuse not to believe in God. There is no excuse not to believe in His Son. No amount of excuses not be believe in Him will ever be accepted by Him. There are no excuses!
