THE LORD IS LOVING AND FAITHFUL

All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant. —Psalm 25:10

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. —Acts 20:24

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. —Hebrews 12:1-2

As followers of Jesus there is a “race marked out for us.” For we who believe “All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful.” It may not “feel” like this at times but His love and His faithfulness surround us as we run this race and seek “to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given (us)—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

How are we being and doing in the race that He has “marked out” for you and me? Are we running in His love and faithfulness— loving Him and being faithful? In this race, what does He want you to be? Dear Father, please help me to run the race You have marked out for me. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
