BLESSED TO HAVE CHILDREN… AND GRANDCHILDREN!
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. —Psalm 127:4-5
We had a family gathering this past weekend with my daughter, Hannah, and her family. It is truly amazing when you watch the children of your children. Elaine and I have surely been blessed by our Lord—“May you live to enjoy your grandchildren.” Yes, we were able to enjoy our grandchildren whether in New York or in New Hampshire. I so enjoyed seeing my children and grandchildren having fun together and for all of us to gather to be with the church on Sunday morning.
We played games, played in the pool, played on the trampoline, put puzzles together, went for walks, told stories, discussed how the Bible applies to life, enjoyed great food our host Hannah provided and laughed… Yes, we are blessed to see our children’s children— our grandchildren. Thank You, Dear Father, for this awesome privilege that comes from Your hand— children’s children. May I talk to You often about them and for them by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. Oh, that each of our children and grandchildren and their children faithfully follow You… down to the end of this age. Yes, may it be so! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2q9UbaBHzI&list=RDu2q9UbaBHzI&start_radio=1
