PROCLAIM THE NAME OF OUR LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!
Be strong and courageous. Who is most important to us? Who has first place in our lives? Who is it that will never leave or forsake us? Who is it that is our helper? Who is it that keeps us from being afraid?
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” —Hebrews 13:5-7
Jesus said, “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.” This One who has first priority in our lives, are we proclaiming Him publicly? Wow, if we are, then Jesus said, “the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.” Oh, may that be our testimony before the angels! Yes, let us publicly “will proclaim the name of the Lord.” Let us proclaim “the greatness of our God!” Let us tell others that “He is the Rock.” May we also herald that “his works are perfect, and all his ways are just” and that He is “A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.” Yes, Dear Father, may we do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
