THE TIME IS GETTING CLOSER!
After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here…” —Revelation 4:1
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” —Revelation 4:11
Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” —Revelation 6:15-17
There is coming a day when our name will be called. The number of our days on earth will come to a close. If Jesus does not come in our lifetime, then one day we will draw our last breath and hear— “Come up here!” Oh, what a glorious day that will be! This is the expectation that we have because we have called on Jesus and it is said of Him that— “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Yes indeed, “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him” (Colossians 1:16). And one day, we will be with Him forever and ever in that place where all things will be made new and never again will sin have an impact of any kind because it will no longer exist! Oh, glorious day!
But we are no there yet and, brothers and sisters, fellow followers/disciples of Jesus, He has given us responsibility while we are still hear—
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” —Matthew 24:14
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”’ —Matthew 28:18-20
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” —Acts 1:8
May be faithful with this responsibility He has given us and to warn others because “the great day of their wrath (will) come, and who can withstand it?” Yes, let us go to others this Christmas season of 2025 and share the good news with them and also to warn them if they reject “the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” If they reject this free gift He offers, then “the wages of (their) sin is death” which is “death and Hades (being) thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death” (Revelation 20:14). Dear Father, may we be faithful with the responsibility You have given us through Your Son. May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus and all for Your honor and glory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1seA2-foTvs&list=RD1seA2-foTvs&start_radio=1
