BE ENCOURAGED AND AN ENCOURAGER!
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. —I Thessalonians 5:11
We are to encourage each other. Encourage here is to be “offering up evidence that stands up in God’s court.” However one is discouraged— the lack of courage— we are to encourage them— put courage back into them— and the way to do this is to do so from God’s perspective. Whatever a person is discouraged with, we are to encourage them by thinking and understanding from God’s point of view and surely not from the world’s point of view.
So, are you discouraged today? What are you discouraged about? Have you sought out what God says about your area of discouragement? Are you thinking according to God’s thoughts? Is the adversary, the devil, seeking to take you down by wrong thinking instead of godly thinking? What will you do about it?
The proper response to take when we are discouraged is to find out what God’s Word says specifically about the area of discouragement or to find some principle of God’s in His Word that deals with that area of discouragement. Otherwise, we will continue to be discouraged or never deal with the discouragement which could lead to darker thoughts and deeper depths of discouragement. Are you discouraged today? Do you know someone that is discouraged today? God’s Word has the answer! Believe what He says and share what He says. Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRfU2kbBaoU&list=RDzRfU2kbBaoU&start_radio=1
