THE GIFT OF SALVATION THROUGH JESUS!
For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. —Romans 3:9
This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. —Romans 3:22-26
What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. —Romans 4:3-5
The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. —Romans 4:23-25
The whole human race has things in common that go all the way back to Adam and Eve.
- All are sinners
- All will die
- All are under judgment
- All need the Savior
This is why Jesus came! He came to save us from our sins that cause this body to die with judgment to follow. “Turn from your evil ways or be condemned forever.” That is the clear and unequivocal truth. If you have not called on Jesus yet, do so now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=5s
All are under the power of sin and only Jesus can set us free (John 8:31-32, 34-36). Jesus willingly went to the cross to atone for our sins. Now, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). When a person calls on Jesus there begins a turning from one’s own way to the ways of our Lord. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2). Yes, a person that sincerely calls on Jesus will begin a transformation as the person seeks not to conform to this world and the person’s mind is renewed after the desires of God.
Amazingly, God has done all the work through His Son to save us. He offers us freely what cost Jesus immensely. We have God’s righteousness, justified us— Jesus took our punishment and served justice on our behalf. He did this and offers salvation to us freely. There is no work you can do to be saved. Salvation is a gift— “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Have you received this awesome gift of salvation through Jesus? Are you sharing this with others? Dear Father, may it be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=5s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLDEt9KP2O0&list=RDBLDEt9KP2O0&start_radio=1
