BE WISE WITH WORLDLY WEALTH!

For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. —Luke 16:8-9

            Being shrewd, insightful or perceptive is something that Jesus said “the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.”  The people of light— brothers and sisters, fellow followers of Jesus— how are we helping others in the Body of Christ who are of “our own kind?” 

            Some things to think about and apply…

• How am I using worldly wealth to impact others positively?
• Who will see me as a friend because of my helping them with wealth?
• Can I be trusted with little so I can be trusted with much?
• Am I dishonest with little and will also be dishonest with much?
• Am I faithful with worldly wealth?
• Will I be entrusted with true riches?
• Have I been trustworthy with Someone else’s property?
• Will I be given property of my own?
• Am I truly serving God?
• Am I serving money?
