SOW FAITHFULNESS!

SOW FAITHFULNESS!

Do to others as you would have them do to you. —Luke 6:31

Forgive, and you will be forgiven. —Luke 6:37

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. —Luke 6:45

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.” —Luke 6:46-49

“Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, c and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”  Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.”  “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.  Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” —Luke 7:41-47

            Jesus tells us…

  • To do to others what we would like others to do to us
  • To forgive and we will be forgiven
  • That the words we speak come from who we are on the inside
  • To call Him Lord is to put His Words into practice
  • Those who love understand the great debt they have been forgiven, love much and serve our Lord

So, how have my actions been toward others?  I am to consider doing to them what I would desire them to do to me.  Am I holding unforgiveness toward anyone?  That will affect me.  What are my heart-motivated words?  Do they bring life or death, encouragement of discouragement, joy or sadness?  How am I putting His Words into practice?  I need to be lovingly obedient to my Lord.  Do I truly understand the great sin debt that I have been forgiven?  Oh, how I love Him for my sin is great!  Yes, Dear Father, I love You and my desire is to be faithful to You.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  Yes, may this be so… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE_PNUNmw9c&list=RDrE_PNUNmw9c&start_radio=1
