THE SAVIOR JESUS!

THE SAVIOR JESUS!

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. —Luke 2:10-11

When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them…  The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. —Luke 2:17-18, 20

For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.” —Luke 2:30-32

And all people will see God’s salvation. —Luke 3:6

The angel brought good news to the shepherds.  Truly, there are people that rejoice with great joy at this news of the Savior/Messiah being born!  The shepherds “spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.”  They were just so full of joy that they had to share with others.

The night had started out with the shepherds fearing when the angel had first appeared to them.  After they heard the message the angel brought, and after the shepherds saw the newborn Savior, they “returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”

Can you say this— “For my eyes have seen your salvation.”  Are you one of these people that have seen “God’s salvation.”  Have you come to the point of seeing your need for the Savior?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=4s   Are you living for Him?  Do you have the joy that those shepherds had on seeing the Savior?  Are you telling others about Him— spreading the Word as the shepherds did?  Oh, that we would be doing so! https://youtu.be/VdoE11kIRBM?t=3035

Thank You, Dear Father, for the salvation You have given me through Jesus.  Now, may I, out of gratitude, live according to Your desires for me.  May this be done in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  Yes, may this be so!
