HE KNOWS ME!

HE KNOWS ME!

His anger burns against me; he counts me among his enemies. —Job 19:11

Have pity on me, my friends, have pity, for the hand of God has struck me. —Job 19:21

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. —Psalm 139:13-16

Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. —139:4

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. —Psalm 139:23-24

            How long will I live?  I can rest in that “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”  I may not know the number of my days, but You do and You will have me live out those days to fulfill Your purposes in my life.  Oh, that I would line up with those purposes and bring honor and glory to Your Name.

            May I also be satisfied with who I am in You.  You created me.  You knit me together.  I will praise You for making me.  All Your works are wonderful.  This I do know.  I have not been hidden from you.  You wove me together.  You saw me even before I was.  And yes, you have planned how many days I will live and You did this even before I started to live one of them!  Surely, I can rest in You and trust You to work out what You desire in my life.  I am known by You and safe in You! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVEHBU8oUGE

            You know my heart’s desires. You know my thoughts. You know the words I am going to speak before I do.  You know if there is any offensive way in me.  You know all about me.  I may not know all about You, but I know enough to know I can trust You even if You take everything away.  Please help me cling to You even when my “friends” may give wrong counsel.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  Thank You for loving me… may I love others as You do me.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Pc6aqCSkiM
