NEVER ALONE, NEVER FORSAKEN!

I will never leave you nor forsake you…  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. —Joshua 1:5, 9

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”  So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.  What can mere mortals do to me?” —Hebrews 13:5-6

            Fellow follower of Jesus, brothers and sisters in Jesus, He has promised never to leave us and never to forsake us.  In victory, He is there.  In failure, He is there.  He will never leave you… never!  Indeed, He has commanded us to “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  He is our help and I need not fear anyone or anything.

            Are you fearful?  He tells us not to be.  “I will not be afraid.”  So don’t be!  Are you discouraged?  Again, He says to us, “do not be discouraged.”  Why does He say these things to us?  It is because “the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  Do you understand this?  “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies” (I Corinthians 6:19-20).  He is not only with us, but He is in us!  And Jesus said, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).  And I thank You, Dear Father, for these promises.  Without these promises we would have no hope.  I am grateful that You will never leave me or forsake me and that Jesus is with me to the very end.  Oh, that I would live faithfully for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsQmsEE_2-s
