YOU SPEAK AS OUR LORD DESIRES

And whether they listen or refuse to listen—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them. But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns surround you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their presence, though they are a rebellious house. But speak My words to them, whether they listen or refuse to listen, for they are rebellious. —Ezekiel 2:5-7

And he said to me, “Son of man, listen carefully and take to heart all the words I speak to you. Go now to your people in exile and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says,’ whether they listen or fail to listen.” —Ezekiel 3:10-11

But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people. —Ezekiel 3:27

We, as disciples of Jesus, are called to be witnesses of His. We are to speak to others what we have seen and heard. When was the last time you shared with someone the good news of Jesus— who He is and what He has done? We are to speak with people just as Ezekiel was commanded to do whether they listen or not. That is up to them. So, let us faithfully carry the message of Jesus to those around us.
