WOW! THE MYSTERY REVEALED!
WOW! THE MYSTERY REVEALED!
He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. —Colossians 1:13
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. —Colossians 1:27
Our Father…
- Delivered us from the domain of darkness (Satan’s domain)
- Transferred to the kingdom of His beloved Son
- Redeemed us through Jesus
- Has forgiven our sins through Jesus
Jesus…
- Is the image of the invisible Go
- Is the firstborn of all creation (that is, He is preeminent over all creation)
- Created all things in heaven and on earth
- Created the visible and invisible
- Created thrones, dominions, rulers, authorities
- Created all things for Himself
- Is before all things
- Holds all things together
- Is the Head of the body, the church
- Is the beginning
- Is the firstborn from the dead (that is, He is preeminent over everything)
Think about this… Jesus is…
- Before all things
- In the beginning (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1)
- From the beginning (I John 1:1)
And now this is the mystery which was once hidden, but now revealed— “which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Yes! “God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery.” All that Jesus is and He is in us through the Holy Spirit—
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them…. Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. ” —John 14:16-21,23
Dear Father, how I rejoice in knowing these things that were once hidden, a mystery, but now are revealed. Surely, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Oh, may I live faithfully for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. Yes, may this be so and for Your honor and glory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGu7xOiLVg0
