CALLING EVIL GOOD AND GOOD EVIL

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.  Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. —Isaiah 5:20-21

Do you see a person wise in their own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for them. —Proverbs 26:12

Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment. —Proverbs 18:1

            Isolated thinkers “seeks his own desire.”  They don’t listen to others.  They are “wise in their own eyes” and “There is more hope for a fool than for them.”  When people “who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter,” then we are in a really bad place.  That is where we are today.

            So many think that—

• The slaughtering of children in the womb is good, but it is evil from God’s perspective and people who promote abortion as good are doing the evil God hates. They are against God and will have to answer to Him. 
• Open borders are a wonderful thing and yet there are those coming over our border that seek to kill us through drugs or outright murder. This is evil and yet it is believed to be a good thing.
• Open borders are violently destroying the lives of children who are unaccompanied. They are being trafficked.  And yet there are those who still promote open borders as a wonderful thing.
• Defunding the police is good. This is evil as it will give traffickers, drug dealers, murderers and all kinds of criminals even more free reign than they have now.  This is evil.
• Inflation is a way to control the economy and people. These are evil and not good people who seek to use their wealth and influence to cause the populace to submit to their wicked intentions.
• Government should freely hand out money that is not their money, but only stewards/managers of. The debt keeps expanding with no intent to pay it back.  God says, “The wicked borrow and do not repay…” (Psalm 37:21).  This too is evil and not good.
• Social engineering in our education is a good thing. Yet it is evil and many agendas are absolutely contrary to God’s will.
• There are many genders and this is so obviously contrary to God’s design, is satanically motivated, just as these other areas are, and is evil.

Yes, our fallen world is contrary to God’s desires and will not yield to His will as they call good evil and evil good.  “Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools…” (Romans 1:22) and it is only a downward spiral from there (Romans 1:18-32).  Stand firm, brothers and sisters, fellow followers of Jesus and “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
