PROCLAIMING JESUS WILL BRING CONFLICT

When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain magician, a Jewish false prophet named Bar-Jesus. He was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence, who summoned Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God. But Elymas the magician (for that is the meaning of his name) opposed them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. —Acts 13:6-8

Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. —Acts 13:38-39

            We have forgiveness through Jesus.  By believing in Jesus we are “freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.”  The works of the law could never free anyone, could never take away sin.  No, the law held us prisoner until Jesus came (Galatians 3:22).  Jesus sets us free and only He can do that!  Let us live as those who are FREED!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MbcYyOsF50

            There are those who don’t want others to hear the Word of God and seek to turn them away from having faith in Jesus.  There are people who want to hear the Word of God, but we need to understand the spiritual warfare we are in.  There are those who will seek to discourage those that want to hear the message to not hear the message.  Beware of those tactics and trust our Lord to open up the way for those who want to hear the Good News we proclaim!  Yes, Dear Father, please open up the doors to proclaim the message of Jesus to those You desire to hear and want to hear.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcmqSfr1ENY
